Dr. John Nafeh is the founder and managing director of Pareto Partners Ltd. He has extensive expertise in general management, start-up financing, strategic planning, marketing, international joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions in the high technology arena. Dr. Nafeh was involved with Atari and Apple Computer during their start-up phases, and also held executive management positions with Ford Aerospace and General Electric.

Dr. Nafeh holds an M.S. degree in engineering-economic systems and a Ph.D. in decision and risk analysis from Stanford University, along with a B.S. in electrical engineering. He is a member of Sigma XI, the Scientific Research Society of North America.

Ursula G. Burger is a managing director of Pareto Partners. She brings more than fifteen years of experience in high technology marketing to the firm, having worked with such companies as Larscom, MAD Intelligent Systems and Multi-Media Video. Ms. Burger’s expertise spans a wide range of corporate marketing and communications, corporate identity development, market research, international marketing, and public and investor relations activities. She has extensive experience in working with start-up companies from inception through initial public offering (IPO), and has also worked as a professional journalist.

Ms. Burger holds an M.A. degree from Stanford University and a B.A. degree from the University of Munich, Germany. She is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI).
